Hi,
I also have similar issues with toms and rimshot. Volume is all the way down but I can still hear sound/clicks when they are triggered by the sequence.
So any help would be appreciated.

I finished mine a couple months ago but had some issues.
Also hand drilling the whole front panel and I/O board for the case took some time
Finally today I managed to put it in a case. It works and sounds great
