Completed mine 05/12/2014.
I wasn't careful with the overlay. It's about 1-2mm off but barely noticeable when you look at the whole thing.
Some problems I had with the kit:
The kit could have used sockets for all of the ICs. Two of the chrome screws were missing. I had two stainless screws laying around so no biggie. But two of the nuts for the enclosure where missing! It would also be nice to have rubber feet for the enclosure. I had my own as well. One of the orange knobs has a defect. The black rubber doesn't fully cover the orange rubber.
The IO board was a little tricky to fit in. Be careful with the cables when you fit it in!
The Handclap is really loud.
My loud phone video. Going through the gyraf ssl clone.

Yocto successfully completed build thread
I finished mine a couple months ago but had some issues.
Also hand drilling the whole front panel and I/O board for the case took some time
Finally today I managed to put it in a case. It works and sounds great

Dear Elschtroumpf,
I think it s one of the best "DIY" finition i ever seen. It looks like a real one.

hello,
finished my yocto today.
Assembly was straight forward, but its a huge project.
One Germanium diode was defect - no big deal.
lets play

Looking forward for a solid lovely case - maybe hammond?
and some mods
big thanks for the kit
