Build one of this beasts aaand I have issues.
I`m having issues with:
1. High TOM - faint sound when C109 is planted. sound with C109 but duhh.. no volume control
) (checked cap all good) 2. Handclap - no sound.
3. HH / OHH - no sound
4. PCM - no sound.
First of all, all the gates from the seq are working. All buttons, all leds. TM1* and TM2* set to specific values. DAC set to 13V. TP4 OK.
I`ll start with PCM and work my way up. For this post i only gathered data for the PCM part.
I scoped around and found at U11 pin 7 (all pots were around center) f=201.20Hz, V=14.90, Vrms = 13.49. Good sqare wave. Removed the 6110 i get no signal at pin 1. removed C157 (its good). At TP2 with pots in position (as manual) i get nothing no wave shape.
Attached some pics. 6110 seems cracked ?! I swear it wast put in reversed. no magic smoke or the puff fairy
Where is best to scope for envelope?
What should i check next?
