Instrument Select button always on

All of a sudden, my instrument select button is enabled on startup, and I cannot turn the mode off! If I press any instruments, it selects them. It acts like the button is held down. I tried reflowing the solder joints in the area, just in case. It did not work.

Has this happened to anyone?

Check your soldering on the caps underneath the buttons area. I had a stuck CH button that was remedied by flowing the button's associated cap.

Sounds like you will need to desolder and replace it. Concerning the kit switches, read what I wrote in this thread:
