Re: Mid Tom: low volume. Hi Tom: Overdriven/ distorted...
Has anyone tried playing the toms with midi? I did this last night and I'm pretty sure the levels were closer to being equal. The mid Tom still didn't have as much resonance to it as the other two but the level was higher than when being triggered by the internal Nava sequencer. I did this with velo...

Re: Hand Clap Sound problem
ok thanks ! do you know if it is possible to shorten the noise decay in the hand clap (not the noise level) or only by using noise gate on separate outputs ? According to this: http://www.network-909.de/handclap.htm , C61 is responsible for the verb envelope decay. I've never tried it but I assume ...

R271 and R272 are connected but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to send or post files on the forum (at least with a phone). PM me your address and I'll email it to you.

This will work to remove flux: http://www.conrad.ch/ce/de/product/055961/Leiterplattenreiniger-Cramolin-FLUX-FREI-1071611-200-ml?ref=list You can use denatured alcohol but it's not quite the same. Flux remover has acetone in it too so it removes everything. Alcohol will leave a little residue. FYI b...

Re: Mid Tom: low volume. Hi Tom: Overdriven/ distorted...
I have the same issue with the mid tom. Haven't had time to look too deeply yet but I'll add to this thread when I do. One thing I did notice during the few minutes I looked was that one envelope was lower by 50% than the other two. (Env1=2V, Env3=2V, Env2 is a different shape, more of a curve than ...

Re: Trials of an electronics novice
I agree with the "practice on something smaller" idea but in answer to your questions: *potentiometers - look underneath them. B103 = Linear 10k (10 x 10^3). Google the other codes to find values or measure resistance across pin 1 and 3 to find total. I sorted and separated mine into ziplo...
