Re: Build completed EEPROM initialize not doing anything
I found a few that were kind of long(like maybe over 3/4 mm past the solder joint?), but honestly, I think what you are seeing is an optical illusion from the lighting and the traces on the board. Can you specifically point out what you are talking about? I'm afraid if I cut right at the solder join...

Re: Build completed EEPROM initialize not doing anything
Would it be safe to rinse the board in water or solvent? I've read that is what some people do, but I'm not sure that would be a good idea, since I'm already working with damaged goods.

Re: Build completed EEPROM initialize not doing anything
Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. I've been building kits for about two years but nothing this complex. With that being said, I've never cleaned flux from a board (!) is that weird? I'm realizing now that is a skill that I need to work on. So, my question is... I've completed these solder joints at...

Re: Build completed EEPROM initialize not doing anything
Bumping this thread to see if I can get any additional feedback before getting a dust cover for this thing.

Re: TUTO: How to burn Yocto v1.0 Bootloader with an Arduino
I am unable to load the Yocto board into the Arduino IDE 1.6. It is asking for a board manager URL. Does anyone know what that is?

Re: Build completed EEPROM initialize not doing anything
So far I have reflowed all of my solder joints in the master and sequencer section including the switches. I've tested to see if the ATmega is getting power, it is getting about 5v, along with each of the HC165Ns. I wonder if my ATmega was not flashed, or if I have somehow shorted it...? Does anyone...

Build completed EEPROM initialize not doing anything
I've completed my build and have resoldered any bits that looked suspect. All 16 buttons light up. When I go to initialize, nothing happens. I've tried the dial at different points thinking that maybe I had the knob on incorrectly. I'm going to look at the schematic and start testing values with my ...

Re: Yocto Metal Box EU - Group Buy
Hi: Just wondering if anyone from the US has received your metal box (from the 2nd round) yet. I know it will take several weeks for shipping from Poland; I'm just trying to get a sense of when I might see the box I ordered. Thanks! Have you emailed Kacper asking for tracking? I got a response from...
