Re: Noise section revision in service manual
After trying at least 3 different 2SC945 transistors I was able to turn in the 130mV range. I am measuring with a Fluke 175 true rms multimeter and the DPSCOPE II about 40mV of difference between the two! I trusted in the Fluke for now.

Re: Noise section revision in service manual
Hello, I am having the exact same problem!
I did the service manual mods too, still got 300mV. I have the exact same problem!
I'm going to order some more 2sc828 and 2sc945 and do some tests, I believe these transistors are supposed to be selected for the hFe value.

I need to contact the company that made those boxes, it is not nearby where I live but I would like to cooperate on getting decent shielded boxes out. I need 2 enclosures myself. I am very excited for the new batch that'...

Re: Exploring other enclosure options.
Oh I can't believe it, just read your PM ElSchtroumpf. I am also interested in this enclosure but can't send PM's cause I haven't been active enough on the forum.ElSchtroumpf wrote:Last chance, I still have 1 enclosure left.
Please let me know how I can get a hold of a decent enclosure like this!
Many Thanks!!

Re: Shielding?
Hello fellow DIY'ers, I am about to buy a Yocto 808 and wondered if there is a way to get the enclosure in metal since I am a bit worried that it needs to be shielded properly. Any tips for shielding the acrylic enclosure? Perhaps put some self adhesive shield foil on the inside? The local laser-cu...
