Re: Nava Extra9 PCB v3.2.1 R84 Value
What difference will the tantalum caps make? Just built mine and used them? Can add some ceramics to my next mouser order if its worth swapping them?

Re: Problems with DIN Sync in Slave mode
I'm not sure if the Nava can act as a protocol convertor. For example, my 707 will not send DIN sync out if I have it as a MIDI slave. But will work fine if I have it as the master and can send both MIDI and DIN sync. I've just ordered a 64pixels DIN sync hub so it can convert MIDI into DIN clock. T...

Re: Alternative (lite) mux_sh board
Built 4 out of my 6 lite boards and all working fine. Did have the slowly fading away sound on one board for just the HH, reflowed everything, straightened a cap or two and fixed it.

Re: Second noise source order
I'm interested as well if you haven't placed the order yet! :) If @synaptech still wants one I'm happy to reduce down to 1 or 2, as ordered some from oshpark too, but at the same time if nobody comes forward by the time they arrive I will honor my original order! PS. Don't need the 4006 as I have a...

Re: All led on at power on?
There is a post, search for bootloader. You can download the tools.rar file and it has a script with the lock, fuse settings and the bootloader.hex file. You need the correct fuse settings to set the clock from the crystal. The firmware and bootloader need flashing if you erase the chip using a icsp...

Re: All led on at power on?
I've had trouble with both of mine with the display showing just the top line of boxes. I eventually worked out I'd fried one of the displays, or at least done some damage to the pads on the display, as if I connected via the other set of pads on the bottom edge it worked. In both cases I damaged so...
