Hi folks,
I always had a hard time getting the official mux_sh boards to work correctly. I tried two sets of the original PCBs and always got erratic accent behavior. I tried making a 100% clone of the PCBs, and I got the same behavior. Now, I have created a clone of the mux_sh board with the unused S&H circuits (and opamps) omitted, and so far the results are promising, as my boards from Oshpark worked immediately, better than the originals ever did. It seems the original boards might have some strange/unpredictable behavior, either due to their density or my shoddy soldering skills.

Please let me know if you try this out, especially if you find problems with it.
Alternative (lite) mux_sh board
Just ordered a couple of sets, will report back when they arrive/build them.
My original boards work in 114, but in 111 the instruments are fine, but with no accent when programmed on the RS, HC, Closed HH.
Total accent works on the Closed HH, but not RS and HC.
Hoping these boards may resolve!

Just an update, my mux lite turned up from osh today.
I have 2 Nava, 4 original mux.
None of them work in one machine in IC111.
Only one of them works in the other machine in IC111.
They all work in either IC114.
Built one of your mux lite and BINGO, works perfectly in the bad IC111. So very happy and thanks for sharing this design/option.
PS. When I say the originals didn't work in various slots, I still had sound, and the instruments worked but there was no difference when accent was on or off.

PS. I have likely 2 spare lite mux boards and all the parts to build them, if anyone wants to try them I am happy to build, test and send them on. We all need some accent in our lives
Built 4 out of my 6 lite boards and all working fine. Did have the slowly fading away sound on one board for just the HH, reflowed everything, straightened a cap or two and fixed it.
