Transistors busted with the kit, as I've got a temperature controller Hakko iron so wouldn't of thought they got over heated.
And had a few of the same type germanium diodes from another project spare, so just replaced with them.

So finally finished the yocto build, with everything now working perfectly :D Great build with clear instructions, had a few issues with parts thou. Mainly the 4011 in the accent section (as described in another thread), dead germanium diode and a few dead 945 transistors that meant the triggers on ...

Ok, so I now have a working Hi Tom
Swapped out Q56 for a spare I had from a dead TR606 board, and all is now fine again!

I have just had the same issue. 1 out of the 6 Germanium diodes were bad, luckily I had read this post before starting the build and it must of stuck in my mind ;) So checked all the diodes before soldering and found the bad one. As I have a old CSQ600 case I would like to use to repurpose for my Yocto build, and will need to get the front panel machined.
