So finally finished the yocto build, with everything now working perfectly
Great build with clear instructions, had a few issues with parts thou.
Mainly the 4011 in the accent section (as described in another thread), dead germanium diode and a few dead 945 transistors that meant the triggers on High Tom, Clap and Open hat weren't working. Replaced dodgy ones with new parts and all is fine now.
So if anybody has issues with non triggering instruments, my advise would be to check out the 945 transistors first.
Next step is to now get my case cnc'd

Congrats!
Do you figure you overheated the transistors or did they just come busted with the kit?
What did you do about the germanium diode, did you replace it with a different type?

Transistors busted with the kit, as I've got a temperature controller Hakko iron so wouldn't of thought they got over heated.
And had a few of the same type germanium diodes from another project spare, so just replaced with them.
