so maybe i will NOT get soldering again so soon... how do you test each unit if
you leave out parts for the addition of the mux boards?
it must definitely be better to add them initially instead of afterwards...

Hi Echo, It was more changes because Mouser ran out of stock. Carbon or metal resistors for the analog parts doesn't matter. The original was mainly carbon resistors 5% anyway at that time. You can begin without the mux boards. You even should, as it may be better to firstly test the unit without them, as they add more uncertainity. Some builders found them to be not working properly the first time. so could i just go ahead and build without the smd parts and then desolder later if i ...

Hello- I read through some posts and also saw the updates on the top of the hardware page, but... where in the changes posted to the BOM do i start with a 1.01a board, and also do i NEED the MUX_SH board and how many of the changes posted to the BOM are related to the board if i don't need it? daunt...
