Nava with Noritake vacuum florecent display

Hadn't seen anyone use a VFD yet, so I took the leap. Can report that the Noritake CU16025-UW6J works and fits perfectly. Just have to cut the 16 pin header down to 14 (pins 15 and 16 are for an LCD backlight). They are pricey but much easier on the eyes, and the viewing angle is huge. Looks better ...

Re: Erica Synths enclosure red filter?

Re: Erica Synths enclosure red filter?

Alright I'll give that a try. For some reason I thought one side of it was covered in sticky tape.

Erica Synths enclosure red filter?

I'm trying to figure out what to do with the red LCD filter/plexi that comes with the Erica enclosure.

If I stick it to the LCD there will be a gap…

What have other people done?

I have so...

Re: Hihats problems . Bug? Solved .

Any reason an electrolytic wouldn't work? This appears to just be connecting an input of gate A to Vss.
I have some electrolytic's left over from my build, but I'd have to order a poly cap.

Re: Greetings from the new official firmware developer

+1 to keeping the code on GitHub updated.
I'm sure a number of us have experience, and it'd make it much easier to coordinate and fix bugs
