V1 Yocto Pre-Build Mod Recommendations

I bought a NOS Yocto 1 kit recently and wondered what mods people would recommend adding before I solder the whole thing together!
(I'm yet to go through the multiple links on the various 808 mod threads but will do soon)
Also, if anyone in the UK (or possibly EU/worldwide) has a decent Yocto 1 case for sale, please get in touch! I have a front panel for this but a full metal case would probably be the easier/better solution.
