Here is the last version of Nava v1.0 firmware

- Pattern group bugs in step write and pattern play mode
- Shuffle update in tap mode
- Crash when deleting more than the last track position

Updates:
- Instruments mute while holding clear
- In tap mode: hold clear + instrument to delete steps
- Seperate CH/OH mute (can be set to combined mute again in global settings page 2)
- Pattern numbers match the step button numbers
- Track and external instrument positions start at 1 v1.025:

-Pressed Pattern play button alternate access to Step and Play mode (no need to press shift again)

-Trig out length is 10ms now v1.023:
-No more HH ticks background noise
-Improved velocity on all instrument
You should replace C89 and C163 by 10nF (Build manual and Mouser BOM updated)
-Clear pattern now set minimum velocity that increase velocity response
-CH Tap Mode bug fixed
-Improve Slave sync when pattern save/change (Please Keep up to date on improving sync cause we do not have this issue with our Midi interface) v1.022:
-Fix OH select Bug v1.021:
-Tap Bug fixed
-Velocity HH can be saved
-OH Velocity and Total ACC conflict solved
-Improved BD, SD and HC velocity response
-RX Midi channel issue solved
-Buttons functions improved
-Sync test in slave mode with a TR505 and with Ableton and Midi interface.
Sync with hardware is perfect but Nava loose some clock signal when sync with a software thru a Midi interface.
Replace R365 value by 1K and R314 value by 4K7 to increase Midi signal should solve this issue v1.020:
-Fixed CH and OH bug in MIDI play
-Add a config page that allow you to set the sequencer pattern change SYNC or FREE: -Push Tempo button twice while holding SHIFT button to access to the second config page. Use the encoder to select "pCH" (pattern change) SYN => SYNC or FRE => FREE. push the enter button to store new sequencer setup v1.019:
-Fixed Middle Tom low volume
-Now respond to Midi note ON velocity 0 message as a Midi note OFF message v1.018:
-Fixed Total Accent issue on crash and ride instruments v1.017:

Is it safe to assume that this firmware update will be loaded on the IC when the next batch of kits are ready for purchase? I hope so since I don't have the know how to perform such a task. Thank you.

I really hope that the build instructions will be updated with info on how to update the firmware.

Thank you for that, and I'm truly looking forward to receiving my email stating that the Nava's ready for purchase, I'm very ready for it.

Mid Tom is now working at the same vol as the Low Tom. =) Thx!
(I still think that the Hi-Tom is to high in volume towards those 2)

Top prio. on next firmware:
- Fix the pattern changes to match the original 909... so that a pattern plays its 16 parts and THEN changes to the next pressed pattern number.
Not like now, where it changes instantly and abrupt.

yeah, I can confirm that the mid tom is now working, and also that the high tom seems to be have a slightly too high level compared to low and mid tom. And I also would appreciate if a pattern would finish all 16 steps before the next pattern plays after a pattern change. Thanks for the effort and fixing the mid tom, we are getting closer to the perfect 909 clone

After playing around a bit, I would vote for the pattern change to be switchable. Meaning that you can choose to either change when button is pressed or after pattern-length.
Because it is very fun to "play" the Nava switching back and forth quickly between patterns

Having a setting for the pattern change would be lovely, I agree with AeonFluX on this one!
Regarding the mid tom, volume is fixed indeed (yay!). I still have a slightly shorted decay on the mid-tom though, but it doesn't bother me that much (not sure if anyone else has this difference in decay)
