yes I second this, very important usability issue... unable to swing the nava with my mpc3000
im almost always using a heavy swing in my music but the nava can only be sequenced straight is a real bummer!

Are you syncing Nava sequences with midi clock, or using Nava in expander mode? I see no reason why (nor understand how) expander mode would quantize incoming notes.
hey thanks for your reply
using nava in expander mode, sending midi from the mpc3000 not using the nava internal sequencer
yeah i dont know why either but its a major issue ...

I just finished building my Extra9 kit, and something strange is happening with the sequencer... not sure what could have changed or if I damaged something ...

When I turn on the Nava the "Guide" button is engaged, and can't be turned off. The rimshot metronome plays all the time.

If I reset the eeprom then the Guide is off and can't be turned on, until I power off and on again, then Guide is on permanently.

This is version 1.028.

I changed nothing other than the Extra9 installation.

Thanks for any help!

Have you done a thorough check for shorts? Because to me that is the only thing that can cause this problem.
