Trigger 3

Discuss Yocto construction and related issues
  • hi,

i don't know, but in a related question i would like to ask if it is know
why the accent out was not implemented in the yocto?
(or is it perhaps "trigger 3"?)
  • Bump!
Anyone have any ideas on this? Does your Trig 3 do anything?
  • maybe this thread is too old, but does trigger 3 function as it should on the NC sequencer channel? And what is the correct way to wire it?
  • Trig 3 is straight off of the microcontroller, so I believe it is S-Trig (at least starting with v1.0a), just like Trig 1 and Trig 2. BUT trig 1 & 2 both run through a transistor circuit that filps them to V-Trig. To do the same to Trig 3, you have to add the following circuit (see photo).
    Image
  • Thanks for the image here..
Successfully built a TRIG3 out yesterday.

The image is quite confusing though, it talks about T2/TRIG2 not TRIG3 :)
Also the Yocto_IO_board_v1.0.pdf is more confusing, pin 2 of JP4, which appears to be labeled TRIG_OUT1, but has TRIG3 under it. And there's TRIG_OUT3 on pin 10 there.. I don't get it, very confusing.

    For anyone wondering:
TRIG2 OUT on the image is the part that goes to the jack
T2 is the part that goes to pin 2 of JP4
