Re: All led on at power on?

The system runs fine on mine with the 1284 (non P) version.

The voltage suggests something shorting or a bad connection in your cables. What do you read on the power pin on IC1 (the TL072) should be 15v

The rest of the IC in the sequencer should be 5v

Re: Unable to get sounds from Nava

So if the step keys don't light up at all, could be something to do with the ICs that control the led matrix, along the bottom row of the sequencer section. When you do the EEPROM program, after maybe 10 15 seconds, does it reboot to normal? If yes, then it is programming the eeprom but you problem ...

Re: Unable to get sounds from Nava

When you do the init eeprom, do they step button leds light up from left to right as a progress indicator? If not, then it suggests its failing to write to the eeprom. This would point to bad eeprom, or bad connection between the cpu and eeprom chip. Check around IC115, ensure its the right way roun...

Re: Alternative (lite) mux_sh board

PS. I have likely 2 spare lite mux boards and all the parts to build them, if anyone wants to try them I am happy to build, test and send them on. We all need some accent in our lives :)

Re: Alternative (lite) mux_sh board

Just an update, my mux lite turned up from osh today. I have 2 Nava, 4 original mux. None of them work in one machine in IC111. Only one of them works in the other machine in IC111. They all work in either IC114. Built one of your mux lite and BINGO, works perfectly in the bad IC111. So very happy a...

Re: MUX_SH board mod tutorial

OK, Partia Success. Edited... see additional text after original post... Almost by accident, the problem where you still have sound, but the different MUX boards don't work (don't add accent, or don't appear to change the sound) on my v1.02 as above was fixed by... re-running the EEPROM initialisati...

Re: MUX_SH board mod tutorial

I think my problem is different from most as I still get sound when the mux are installed. I have 4 mux boards, and 2 nava. I did have one mux that silenced its instruments, resoldered the board, cleaned with IPA and then it worked. So anyone with complete silence, I suspect its the SMD soldering, o...

Re: Second noise source order

I've build 1 Nava and have 2 more in the works, so happy to take 3 boards. So we just need one more i guess!

Re: Alternative (lite) mux_sh board

Just ordered a couple of sets, will report back when they arrive/build them.

My original boards work in 114, but in 111 the instruments are fine, but with no accent when programmed on the RS, HC, Closed HH.

Total accent works on the Closed HH, but not RS and HC.

Hoping these boards may resolve!
