Re: Sequencer issues
Thanks. I've confirmed continuity and scoped the Atemga on pins 20,21,33,34,35 without the 4049UBE placed the 4049 back and confirmed that it is inverting the correctly, and confirmed continuity at IC3 pin 10 and IC114 pin 6. All testing was done with a accented BD Back to the drawing board. In norm...

Re: Sequencer issues
Cheers Vincent. I've gone through all of that and it all is good up until the clap which is causing the issues I've described. I've checked all the work and parts and it's all good. After, I removed the clap from the ±15v rails and then carried on with the other instruments. The CB, CYM, HH and PC-2...

Re: Sequencer issues
Since this I've pulled PC-2 and BD from the power rail and now I am experiencing permanent faults on the other voices. Ground noise on toms, ENV time is too long on the CB and CL, and other strange behaviour. I've re burnt the Atmega which fixed the LED behaviour and encoder issue.

SOLVED - PC-2 causing instruments to trigger
Bit of a strange one... I've been working on a build for a guy that he started but had issues. I've completed the build and changed all of the ICs that had been previously fitted, tested the transistors he fitted, checked out all his work, and I've burnt a fresh Atmega (I was told at one stage he ha...

Re: Sequencer issues
So after lots of scoping, checking parts and traces, desoldering and swapping out ICs I've had no change, until I decided to just have a play with it. I've found that its the PC-2 part causing the sequencer to go bad. With various positions of the pots I seem to get different results with different ...

SOLVED - Sequencer issues
I'm experiencing a few issues with the sequencer. The encoder is not working, I've read about this here and burnt the Atmega again a few times with a .bat file supplied by Vincent which contains the latest FW with no change, I've checked continuity and all is good. Should I be burning the firmware, ...

Chin shia knobs
Is anyone considering another run of knobs, or has some for sale? If not we could use this as a show of interest and I may consider this along with some that are suited for the Extra9 mod. Anyone who has experience ordering with Chin Shia that could offer some information regarding the type, colour ...
