Re: Typical total build cost
You can save in ordering resistors and some other not sensitive components to Tayda. And maybe use this save for higher grade capacitors ! Also I found that the very specific resistors values can be swapped with some nearest more generic/cheap ones without notable change, but if you want to be picky...

The voices are mixed on the IO board I think.
A too weak voltage transformer may be the issue producing noise in the audio.

Intermittent bad +15v when powering on
Hi, I have an IO board which makes the powering on faulty like 3/4 of the time: the sequencer works but there's no sound, and when investigating I can see that in fact the +15v is like 300mV, or even -500mV sometimes. Does anyone know what could be the cause ? Bad inductor, diode ? How can I find wh...

Re: MUX_SH board mod tutorial
Did you quintuple check the 3 pins connectors ? I did the mistake when I built mine, even though I carefully did it. Quite a lot a people had issues with their boards, but as SMD seems too small for some, we can't be sure to trust if they really had bad boards as they claim. Otherwise in a last reso...

Re: Is it normal for the regulators to get quite hot?
That can be because your supplied voltage is a bit high. Try to measure it under load (=measure the AC input voltage while the Nava is powered on).
Otherwise if no fault is found, that could be also considered normal, hence the heatsinks...

Re: Question about using wire headers & connectors on both e
Connectors on both ends makes a more reliable installation than soldering if you move the cables a lot.
