Ok, could you suggest where connect the switch in the PCB?

Re: Yocto Metal Box EU - Group Buy
Ok. i want this box, but as i wrote in PM, i don't want the IEC socket, but I would the power switch (something like this) http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/71/Rocker_PR_PPR-469559.pdf . The problem for me is how implement this. IMHO the simplest thing is desolder the jack socket from PCB and put one of pa...

Oh, it's a great thing to know! It means the Yocto is a perfect clone!deejayraoul wrote:The clap missing full decay on the first couple of hits is a known issue and probably a design mistake somewhere in rolands history. My 808 and DR110 show exactly the same behaviour.
Thank you deejayraoul!

Re: TUTO: How to get a Full Yocto v1.0 Kit
Hi Odyssey, I've finished the project and remains me four of this capacitors. I hope they are not for spare in case of explosion! :) If the circuit works at the 5V DC, tolerance should be enough i think ... If you haven't yet ordered from Mouser, also check the non-polarized capacitors, some will co...

Re: A couple of calibration questions and then I'm finished.
Oh yes, it is the vibration caused by the powerful bass! ;) The background noise is unfortunately what i hear at my home. I live very close to a thoroughfare. However i re-edited the video, so I will not have to feel guilty about any headaches... Actually the Yocto is fairly quiet. I replaced the op...

I've the same issue. Have you solved this?4teenth wrote:Other than that, I've noticed a couple of weird things - i seems that the reverb part of my clap does not sound for the first couple of times.

Re: Noise section trimmer voltage?
Ok, i've partially solved the problem. I was not focused and i had forgotten the capacitor of 22pF added in parallel on R130! :) It worked like low-pass filter, cutting the noise. The snare drum seems good now, but the toms no more. They have a sort of granular noisy tail now... https://soundcloud.c...

Re: Yocto successfully completed build thread
Hi everybody! I've finally finished the assembly of my Yocto! I've only a problem with the noise generator, so the snare drum don't sound perfectly, almost without noise (snappy). Massimo --------------------------------------------------------- Problem solved! I've forgotten to remove a capacitor i...

Re: Noise section trimmer voltage?
Hi, There was a modification on the original TR-808 which has not been respected in the Yocto. Have you tried it? It worked for me. Replace R129 (330k) by a jumper (0) and replace R311 (330k) by a 100k. Also replace R127 (47k) by a 10u capacitor. Have a look page 15 of the TR-808 service manual. R3...

Re: Noise section trimmer voltage?
Maybe it's because your 2SC828 need an hFE of at least 300. Hi gihaume! Thank you for the answer! I haven't studied electronics at school unfortunately. In fact i'm quite surprised that i have completed this project, although I think that the assembly requires only a good manual dexterity. I did no...
