Re: Gate Triggers don't properly trigger...

Okay, can the pulse width be increased? Is it a software problem? Hi truman, thanks for the pics! It seems that trig is indeed 5V and not that 0.07V you mentioned before? How did you measure it before? As far as my (limited) experience goes, 1ms seems to be quite a normal pulse-width just for a tri...

Re: [Wish List] Yocto OS Update Thread

not critical but useful feature request: When in EDIT mode, rotating the Instrument select switch could (briefly) give visual feedback using the leds of the corresponding step switches as i can tell from experience: its hard to see which instrument you are selecting when in a dark environment :D Ne...

Re: [Wish List] Yocto OS Update Thread

I really miss tap entry.. Ideally in EDIT mode, pressing the "shift key" would enter a note at the current step for the current selected sound (similar to 606, 808,..). In fact, my yocto already has a note with "TAP" inserted behind the switch  Yeah, 'tis a good feature! Ho...

Re: Official Nava BUGS list

EDIT: Actually, are you sure your DAW shuffles the MIDI clock? I've had a bunch of equipment where the shuffle is used only in the internal sequencer of the device and does not touch the MIDI clock when it's acting as a master. Yes, it works fine with my Acidlab Miami drum machine. Cool, thanks.

Re: Bass Drum Issues

Hey p, thanks for getting back to me. Here are some pictures (jumper wire still needs replacing i know): Everything looks ok except for the jumper and q6 and q12 area. Are you aure all the el-caps are in the right way? The reverse operation of the pot makes me wonder... 1V envelope sounds low to me...

Re: Official Nava BUGS list

When controlled by MIDI, Nava doesn't respond correctly when swing is added to MIDI track in DAW. Seems like MIDI is quantizised. MIDI is quantized, AFAIK there is no standard behaviour about what a piece of MIDI equipment should do when the clock rate is not even. AFAIK the MIDI clock is 24ppqn an...

I just added 2 of them to this thread. Both confirmed by other builders.

Re: Greetings from the new official firmware developer

Wouldnt it be a better start if you had a complete working one to start with  :?: Yes, it was working 100% (well, minus the bugs). Something is awry with we don't yet know what (I've changed the 1284p, EEPROM and one shift register already), I'm trying more stuff today also. I should get anot...

Hi mymaracas, can you take hi-quality pictures of the BD-area? Sounds like a short or a wrong/broken component somewhere.

Don't thank me yet, I've been having huge problems with my Yocto firmware for the past week... :-)

Hope to resolve it soon so I can work on the real issues!
