Re: HandClaP/MAracas section just leak noise...
Just tried to switch the BA6110 and all 4558s with the PC2 section (since I socketed all ICs and the PC2 is working perfectly) and the noise still there. So, my guess is that it is not the ICs at all. No idea what it can be, but it is obviously the "WN" section (the noise section) leaking ...

Re: Official Yocto² Firmware
Yocto V2 is different with Nava V1 Update. For Yocto is the (hold switches 1,3,5 when powering up) not necessary. This will be done by the first switch on !!! The problem is, that for some reason the initialization process on first startup does not work properly in a lot of cases. For example, the ...

HandClaP/MAracas section just leak noise...
So, after everything is done and it is working, the only issue I am having is with the Handclap. Basically, unless my TM3 is at the minimum, the noise is unbearable (it is louder then the effect). Even TM3 at minimun there is a lot of noise. Even if the effect is NOT in the song at all, just if the ...

Re: Official Yocto² Firmware
Hi! I am trying to program my chip using the "TL866II Plus" and the software "Xgpro" with the HEX file and it is just not working. It is a brand new chip since I broke the original one that came with the kit. Here is the way I setup: IC: ATMEGA 1284P Fuse Low Byte: SUT1=0, CKSEL3...

Help, I maybe burn something but I don't know what
So, after all the assembly, I was about to turn on for the first time and the 5V regulator temp went really high and nothing happened (LCD was low red for a while and some LEDs light. After that everything shutdown. Then, I unplug both boards and I measured the volts and everything looks fine. So, p...

Masuto's tips on Yocto 2 board?
Hi, I was reading the very detailed and amazing instructions from Masuto's blog: https://masutopedals.wordpress.com/2016/02/06/yocto-808-building-tips/ And I was wondering if any of the proposed mods are applicable to the version 2 board. The trim pots sounds very cool to fine tune the instruments, ...

Re: Yocto 2 - differences with the original TR-808 circuit
Yes, I read the description. But, it says "12 analog instruments cloned of the Roland TR-808 and Boss PC-2 Percussion Synthesizer" while the original version 1 says "11 drums 100% analog cloned the TR-808". I just wasn't sure if it is just phrasing or if the original is 1-1 (100%...

Re: Yocto 2 - differences with the original TR-808 circuit
Cool! But is the circuit on all voices 1-1 clones of the TR-808 circuits (like the Yocto 1 was)? Thanks!
