the new haven LCD from the mouser bom comes with a resistor already on the display PCB I think.
The datasheet states no external resistor for the backlight is needed.

Correct, by usage of Newhaven display a resistorleg instead of 1k2 resistor fixed the issue.

Not wanting to stress, but just wondered what the status of the next nava batch is? The estimated date on the shop have been removed so I've been pressing refresh on the page like once every hour since sunday

Did mouser say it is out of stock to you? I am looking at that page and it says "Stock: 9,936 Can Dispatch Immediately"

I am sure this has been covered, but I am missing a whole wack of parts from the Mouser BOM from May16th, the 139 parts listed I might have half of them! I am already a novices at this, so this really tossed me a curve ball seeing that its Nov 14th and I am stuck because I was shorted parts

So if I order some parts from Tayda and some from Mouser, I can save quite a bit can I?
If so, can anyone help me out with this? not sure exactly what I'm doing lol!
