Metal Cases in the US

Hello all.

I am currently getting ready to have several metal cases built here in the US. To that end I have the original dimensions from previous YOCTO case builds. I have Request For Quotes out to several metal fab shops and am waiting to hear back at this point. My request is for the metal enclosures in either 6061 or 5052 aluminum 2.5mm thick, punched and bent to specification, powder coated matte black on one side, cinch nuts installed for assemble (less likely to strip), and silk screened with the same template as the YOCTO overlay.

The initial case is for use with an external power supply but I could also have some made that would accept an IEC power cable connector.

I'm not sure how much these will cost yet, but the more I order, the better the price. To that end, I would like to know if anyone is interested so I can get an idea of how many to order. Once I have a final price, I'll let everyone know so you can order one if you want to. My goal is at least 100 cases as I will be making and selling complete units sometime in the future (probably not until spring of 2016).

To respond, you can either reply to this message here in the forum or send an email to jswan[at symbol]swansynths[period]com

I'm definitely interested to hear what the price would be, and what it would cost to ship to europe.
