Where are the calibration instructions?

Discuss Yocto construction and related issues
  • Also, not a single trimmer on my latest build is in range of the correct values. The build docs should be updated with the correct series resistors or at least a note indicating that part may need changing since those parts are difficult to get at
  • I had to read this forum very throughly to find the info required to calibrate my Yocto.

I had to change a resistor is the noise circuit and solder resistor in parallel with another in the cowbell oscillator section. I can't remeber which ones I changed and the values off the top of my head but can find out if you are interested.
  • Oh I know, this is my second one and I had to do the same thing on the 1st one that I built
  • What are you referring to? The 4 trimpot calibration settings are all in the build guide? Cowbell usually needs a resistor mod to ge a high enough pitch. What else do you need?

where? I could not find anything
  • The build guide? It's on this page http://www.e-licktronic.com/en/content/ ... one-tr-808

Scroll down half way to the section where it says "Assembly, we recommend that.."

    TM1 and TM2: http://www.e-licktronic.com/en/content/34-cymbal
    TM4 http://www.e-licktronic.com/en/content/36-noise
  • hm. So they are.

Dont know how I missed those. Thanks for the pointer..

So you built 2 yoctos without the build guide? :D
Get the latest unofficial Yocto V1 firmware here.
Be sure to check the revised manual.
