Clap weirdness

Hey all.

I've more or less successfully put it together.

I have a couple of problems left and i'm wondering if anyone has some input, lets start with the clap.

I read this: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=146&start=10
and measured all of the steps in "figure 13", all good up to step 6 like:
Image <- from pin 5 of the 6912 (ic23)
But.. Not step 7:
Image <- from pin 8 of 6110 (ic22)

my clap from main out. First with tm3 ~50%, then back to 0% and up to 100% back to 50% then added high hat for volume reference

It's a bit strange that my board is printed with "1.0" but it does not match pictures and eagle brd-file.
Did i also get a prototype board? viewtopic.php?f=16&t=413&p=2602&hilit=1.0+match#p2602

Dear xlarge,

Please post a picture of your Clap section. If it appear that you receive a proto Yocto board contact Vincent: contact@e-licktronic.com.

Best regards,

Confusion cleared up thanks to Vincent.

I actually was looking at the prototype board eagle files and comparing to my board.
I re-downloaded the schematics and board file now and they match what i've got. So i do NOT have a proto board.

Clap is still more like a snare though :)

Any luck with the clap so far?

Nah, nothing new yet.

I'm in the dark... So i'll do what i can. Replace the BA6110 and see what happens.

Is there a reference any where what i should see if i measure/scope with the ba6110 out?

Verfied all transistors, resistors and capacitors.
Replacing the 6110 didn't do jack shit but going over all solder joints did.
I think i had some trouble around R372/C128. Now i've got something that's closer to a clap at least.

What do you think? Any obvious areas i should look at now?

So i went over the noise section again (put in 68k @ R127) and now i'm getting this after a lot of fiddling with handclap trimpot.

The clap on mine sounds similar to yours but the volume of the clap is very low. I'm not sure what would be the cause. I tried adjust adjusting the trims but as I make it louder it sounds a lot less like a clap. :?:
