Handclap/maracas sounds on every step

Hi!
Just finished my build, and everything seems to work except that clap/maracas sounds on all steps, even if they are not active.
I vaguely remember that when I tested the clap with arduino, I didn´t need +5v on CP input in clap section to trigger the sound and thought that was weird. Because of that I now suspect Q28, does that sound reasonable?
If so, I guess it should be possible to replace it with any general purpose NPN transistor?
