Hi the caps in my mouser kit look different that the ones on your build guide I don't want to install them if they have been substituted for the green ones by mouser

Most are yellow Nichon
Some are Kelmet
The only value I have @ 153j are multilayer ceramic capacitors not polyester film
Will they sound identical ?

Is this correct ? I don't want to install them and have to rip them all out again

808 has mylar capacitors. The Yocto project is a 99% 808 clone, so it uses the most possible exact same parts.

And yes, the kind of capacitor is important for sound circuits from what I've read. Especially using a ceramic instead of polymer is not appropriate. The value is the same, but the behavior (maybe timing/dynamic) is not the same.
