[For sale] Wood sides for ElSchtroumpf enclosure

Place carefully the template on the sides of your enclosure's bottom part, then draw the points with a sharpened pencil
Use a metallic tip (in e.g. a screw) to make some physical marks in the metal at the place of the drawn points
Take a 1 mm drill tip and make some precise holes (thanks to the physical marks)
Take a 2 mm drill tip to enlarge the holes
Take a 3.5 mm drill tip to enlarge the holes to the final drilling diameter (0.5 mm more than the screws diameter)
Screw the sides and say: "Those wood sides are essential to the enclosure design !"

Without printed template :

Drill some holes with a diameter 0.5 mm bigger than the screws you will use (the ones I give are 3.0 mm, so drill 3.5 mm) in the sides of your metal enclosure (2 cm from each border is a good place)
Put some double-sided tape on the wood sides or the enclosure sides
Reassemble the two parts of the enclosure and put it in its working position
Carefully bring the wood sides to the enclosure sides, find the best looking position and press them together so the tape stick them together
Open the enclosure carefully so the wood sides don't fall
Mark the points on the wood sides across the holes you did in the enclosure
Drill the holes in the wood sides of a diameter 1 mm smaller than the screws diameter you will use (2 mm with the ones I give)
Screw the sides and say: "Those wood sides are essential to the enclosure design !"

With self-printed template : (only if you don't have double-sided tape)

Print this PDF 2 times
Cut one of them on the blue line and the other one on the black line and try to make smallest holes you can across them in the place of the printed points (the best way is to use a metallic tip in e.g. a screw)
Take the smaller template (blue line) and place it carefully on the sides of your enclosure's bottom part, then draw the points with a sharpened pencil
Use a metallic tip (in e.g. a screw) to make some physical marks in the metal in the place of the drawn points
Take a 1 mm drill tip and make some precise holes (thanks to the physical marks)
Take a 2 mm drill tip to bigger a bit the holes in keeping the initial precision
Take a [your screws diameter] + 0.5 mm drill tip to make the final hole (3.5 mm with the screws I give)
Take the bigger template (black line) and place it the best centered you can on the wood sides' wrong side and mark the points
Drill the holes in the wood sides of a diameter 1 mm smaller than the screws diameter you will use (2 mm with the ones I give)
Screw the sides and say: "Those wood sides are essential to the enclosure design !"

I think my Yocto looks beautiful now, but I won't be taking pictures until I find some nice knobs to complete the picture!
