I'm wondering if it is worth the $12 to try it in the Yocto hand clap.

This one i know of on the forum:

But keep in mind that it is Not a drop in replacement for the BA6110!

edit* I misread your question, sorry about that.
It won't work in the yocto because the circuitry is adapted so they could use the BA6110 in the Handclap instead of the BA662.
