Rectifier diode 1N4004 vs 1N4007 [SOLVED]

Hi all,
I just finished and tested my I/O board but DI, D2 and D10 burnt. It seems it is because D2 was soldered in the wrong way. I was wondering if I could replace them with 1N4007 ? as the shop next to me doesn't have 1N4004.
Hope the other components haven't been affected ...

Dear Deepvibes,

The differences between 1N4004 and 1N4007 are the working peak reverse voltage who is 1000V for the 1N4007 instead of 280V for the 1N4004. You can use it in place without any problem like all 1N400X diodes rectifier.

Best regards,

Many thanks for your reply.
I just made replacement and tested voltage with my multimeter.
At first I use AC mode and result was near to 0V, then in DC mode I could read : +5,03 / +14,88 / -14,88
Can you please confirm output voltage is ok ?

Those voltages are withing a 1% tolerance, so they're very ok!

Well, I come back to you because I just finished building the bass drum section and wanted to check it with my arduino, but I noticed that the value of 5V increased from +5,03 to +5,48 while values of +15V and -15V are still the same : +14,88 / -14,88
DI, D2 and D10 (still) seem to be ok.

Any idea about where the problem could come from ?
How can I test the other components involved into the 5V circuit ?

Ok, so my problem has been solved !
It was coming from IC6 (4011N) in the accent section. I guess it wasn't pushed far enough into its socket. Now 5V value came back to 5,03.
Everything seems to be fine now, except the fact that IC6 is getting pretty hot as soon as I turn the power on, but nothing seems to burn so far ...
