[SOLVED] Distorted master output

Hi all!

I recently finished building a NAVA kit and it works almost perfectly. The only thing wrong is that the master outputs are distorted. The individual outputs are clean, fortunately, but it's still a very annoying bug.

I did some troubleshooting and managed to somewhat localize the problem. The output of IC66 is clean and the sound gets distorted after R473. Here is the relevant part of the schematic: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hNzCnE ... share_link
It's the same for the other master output (clean before R474, distorted after).

This is how the distortion sounds like:
- Clean: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1i1hGIa ... sp=sharing
- Distorted: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Bcveay ... sp=sharing

At this point, I am stuck. I looked through the solder traces, I tried replacing IC66 and I double checked the component values.

What could I test next? I hope someone could point me towards the solution as I can't wait to integrate the drum machine into my setup :)

All the best,
Matyi

After digging through the forums, I decided to try unsoldering Q82/83, as recommended here: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=850&hilit=q82

It worked!

You need to be sure that the power source is still at at least 15VAC when loaded (connected).
