Possible to give the snare more punch?

Extra 9 , the noise is there but it lacks the punch (or thump) of the tr909 snare
Wondering if anyone has felt the same and come up with a mod ?

I've had the same issue. but haven't tried it with a mod

You can stack mods or socket resistors so you can tweak by ear, which is ideal if you're chasing a particular snare flavor.
