-15 v Getting 0V on PSU

  • Double and triple check orientation and value of all diodes and electrolytics. Check for solder bridges and cold solder joints.
  • Thanks for the response. So I' have checked over and over again.. As far as I can tell it looks good.
Here are some pics . I've re soldered every point to be sure of cold solders.

I am stuck here. How can I test for bad components... ?

I don't get any voltage after D2. I swapped it with another diode and nothing changes..
The other diodes. D10 and D1 all pass 15v from the 15v ac jack.

What else can cause voltage to not pass beyond that point?

Here are some pics to maybe get another set of eyes on it. Thanks y'all!

And one more. Since only 3 allowed per post.
  • Are you sure the diode is in the correct direction? (Just eliminating the obvious)
  • Hi,

As you have no negative voltage, and only 13,2V on the +15V, I think you maybe have bought a wrong transformer.
It should be 15VAC, not 15VDC. Have you checked this?

    Regards.
  • How did you solved the problem no-15V only 0 V :?:
  • You need an AC output supply, found here https://www.esr.co.uk/electronics/produ ... pplies.htm.
