Decided to try a few different opamps in my Yocto just for fun. I've replaced all toms with NE5532 which is a definite improvement. In the snare I'm using an OPA2604 and an NE5532 which has given it a far more rounded tone, for the kick I'm using an OPA2134 which gave it a little more oomph and for the master another good old fashioned NE5532 although I'm also quite partial to the OPA2134 here.
I'm already stoked with the rim, cowbell, cymbal, open and closed hats sounds so I left them as they were.
Tried a few different opamps in the noise section but strangely I'm not sure anything is an improvement on the 4558. The NE5532 and TL072 are gun opamps in distortion pedals so I assumed they'd do well here but to my ears the noise was far more harsh and the snare just loses its 808-ness.
Anyone else tried any others?
Playing with opamps
As soon as I get my sequencer problems solved I will do some tests with different opamps in the master section. I already put in Elna Silmic IIs and styroflex caps instead of the supplied components.
I've got LM4562, an OPA2604 and OPA2134 to play with. I might order the 5532s for toms and snare too if they improve the sound without making it less 808-y.

Any definitive results after lots of playing around here guys?
