Missing C42 153J 100V

Discuss Yocto construction and related issues
  • For the person who prepared the kit, it is almost impossible to go wrong as there are hundreds of components. I have rarely seen DIY kit without sorting errors. So I will continue and find a 15n cap elsewhere.
  • In my kit i had 3 153J 100V and the rest of them was 2A153J.. I assumed they were all the same.
  • Haven't started building myself, but I checked all parts in the kit except resistors and nothing was missing.. There was one extra transistor iirc ;)

Be sure to check the revised manual.

  • I do the same and i even tested all components before assembly.(especially the transistors) It avoids unpleasant surprises at the end.

What unpleasant surprise you get ?

  • Another diy i have a friend who had not checked the transistors in the end the bass drum does not work because a transistor was defective.
I always check the transistors and measure their gain. It's better to spend several hours checking, that spend several days to troubleshoot.

    You're right ;)
