Questions that come across your mind when assembling Yocto

I'm at the beginning my project, gathering together the components for the power supply from the bags in the kit. It seems that I can't find the electrolytic capacitator C3 as there is no electrolytic cap marked 680/35. However there is one marked 680 µf 50 V and it seems that it is not used in any other place. Can I use that as C3 or has there been a mistake and this component shouldn't be used but I should get a proper one somewhere?

Same thing here. Regarding its size and the pretty close value I deduced it was C3.

It would be a problem if the voltage rating is lower than 35V.
So i guess you're okay with that particular capacitor you have in hand.
I also don't see such a big capacitor footprint on the mainboard btw.

Same problem here, 50v instead of 35...hope it's not a problem

It just means the capicitor can be used in a circuit up to 50 volts. Since the circuit is less than 35 (the original value) you are well within the values this capacitor is rated for.
