Clap Question, is this normal?

I just finished my yocto and everything sounds great except for the clap in my opinion. Before I start replacing caps and transistors I have a couple questions regarding the issue if anyone could help..

-When calibrating and turning TM3, if I turn to the right, the clap eventually gets more distorted and sounds like a burst of white noise until eventually the noise is constant. When turning TM3 down it reaches a nice spot where the clap starts to sound like a clap and not a block of noise and infinite noise goes away, Is this normal operation?

-My clap seems a slight higher pitch than a TR808, is this normal if not how do I go about changing the pitch? As I understand its a bandpass filter I have put a 100k potentiometer on R334 and can move the frequency like that, is there a better way of changing the pitch of the clap?

I have attached a clip so you can hear the clap. Also if you can let me know if anything else sounds off? Thanks!
