help sudden death

Hi all,

i had an issue with the clap being obnoxiously loud. the clap had no shape just a loud hit of noise. i found the fault around r370,r364,c127 q71. i hald a wet finger round there and heard the clap. so i figured i would change the resistors, the transistor and the cap all for good measure. after I done this i powered up the yocto ad heard the sound just die out of it.

Now I have power issues and no Audio. the power board has power. i have continuity through the power board from the jack through to +-15v on j8. but not on the test points. also the 7815 is burning up.

then the board itself. i have no power on the test points, well very little. but the sequencer plays fine. but i have no audio.

please help me debug this i am almost ready to through it in the bin

Ok,

the yocto is alive again. the issue was an ground trace on the power board died. now i have the original issue with the clap. the clap is distorted, noise section is fine. all instruments sound good apart from the clap, but now the clap has a low output not anywhere near as loud as before and maracas are also low when before there was nothing wrong with them. turns out the previous fix fixed nothing haha.

all transistors have been changed as well as Ics. continuity in the circuit is good so far

any feedback would be good.

Maybe @Admin @e-licktronic e-licktronic may have an idea where to look
