HandClaP/MAracas section just leak noise...

So, after everything is done and it is working, the only issue I am having is with the Handclap.

Basically, unless my TM3 is at the minimum, the noise is unbearable (it is louder then the effect). Even TM3 at minimun there is a lot of noise.

Even if the effect is NOT in the song at all, just if the Handclap volume is not at zero, the noise is present (the noise leaks even in the volume below the "orange" reference point, below noon). The noise is present on the master and also on the individual output. If the track is CLEAR but I just move the Handclap volume the noise leaks.

So, any idea where in the circuit this noise is "not being blocked" or filtered? Looking at the schematic I am guessing the U21B section but it is a long guess and I have no idea how to debug this...

Thanks!!!

Just tried to switch the BA6110 and all 4558s with the PC2 section (since I socketed all ICs and the PC2 is working perfectly) and the noise still there. So, my guess is that it is not the ICs at all.

No idea what it can be, but it is obviously the "WN" section (the noise section) leaking since if I change TM4 the noise changes. I am pretty sure that TM4 is correct since my TP4 is measuring exactly 130mV RMS. Also, the noise is used for other instruments and they sound correct and they don't leak...

FIXED!!!
Answer directly from Vincent by email:

"It seems that the AN6912 is dead.
Try to replace it with a stantd quad comparator like LM339"

That worked like a charm! While I am trying to source an working AN6912 for "authenticity", the sound of the handclap now is amazing and I am glad that I socketed all ICs.
