Hi,

I was reading the very detailed and amazing instructions from Masuto's blog:

And I was wondering if any of the proposed mods are applicable to the version 2 board. The trim pots sounds very cool to fine tune the instruments, but, I am very curious about the mod on the noise section that he refers as being suggested by Roland on the service manual.

Yes. The analogue parts are both direct clones of the 808 so these mods will work on the V2 Yocoto. I done this to my V1, ensure to experiment, record and analyse each change.

The noise mod is only needed if you can not calibrate the noise part. I believe the V2 already incorporates the mod, I may be wrong.
