Atmega controller broken?

Hi,
I accidentally connected the 8 pin header on the main board the opposite way
So +5 volt and the ground have been switched.
I suspect the Atmega controller is broken now, because pin 4, 5, 6 and 38 and 36 now give a continuous 5 volts instead of the trigger pulses in test mode.
Is there another way to confirm it is broken?
And could the multiplexer and shift registers also be broken by the mistake? Should I order new ones right away?
Thank you!
