I've put together the first part of the power supply section and tested the voltages of the main power output, however I don't register a voltage between J10 pins and not sure which components would be connected to it to check. I've gone over all the soldering and all that seems fine.

Looking at the schematics I can't see anything other than some details regarding the MIDI pins.

I'm not very experienced with electronics, and taking it slowly. Any pointers towards moving forward would be appreciated.

I think I figured this out. I was looking at the Nava PSU PCB bottom PDF which seems to be a bit clearer on the circuit connections, and looking again at the photos it looked like there was a resistor missing. The initial steps didn't explicitly say to connect this, so I hadn't got to that, and R54 is missing. No doubt now that was the problem.
