Hi

Over the past weeks/month I've been working on an Expansion Modul for my NAVA. Each instrument reveived additional parameters (pots) - 37 Pots / 3 Switches in total.
Sonic enhancement is really remarkable - I liked (most of) the sounds before - but with the expansion some sounds are taken to a new level :ugeek:

BassDrum - 4 additional Pots (3 famous + 1 new):
  • PitchEnv Depth - sets the mod amount of the Pitch Decay
Frequency - sets the initial Tuning of the Oscillator
Noise - sets the Decay Time of the Noise portion (dirty)
Drive - Overdrives the Oscillator (extremly dirty)
Also includes some range extensions for existing pots: Decay, PitchEnv-Deca ('Tune' Pot), Attack (much more Attack)
SnareDrum - 4 additional Pots:
  • PitchEnv Decay - sets the Pitch Decay
PitchEnv Depth - sets the mod amount of the Pitch Decay
Decay - sets the Decay Time of the Osc Amp (Noise portion already has a Decay Pot aka 'Tone')
Damp - actually a LowPass Filter for the Noise portion
Range extension: 'Tone' slightly increased range
Toms - 5 additional Pots: (I really love this mod.. while I never liked the original Tom sounds of the 909 - too much ingredients: 3 Oscillators + Noise - with the mod you have full access to the level of every of the 4 sources, from zero to full+)
  • PitchEnv - sets the Pitch Decay Time
    OSC1 - sets the level of OSC1
    OSC2 - sets the level of OSC2
    OSC3 - sets the level of OSC3
Noise - sets the level of Noise

RimShot - 3 additional Pots: (gets more out of the RimShot - fit it to the mix)
  • Tune - sets the tuning
Attack - sets the level of Attack portion
Drive - overdrives the main oscillator
HandClap - 3 additional Pots: (increases sonic capabilities)
  • Tune - sets the tuning
Timbre - chenges to overall sound dramatically (sounds like claves or even HiHats at higher positions)
Reverb - sets the 'Reverb' Time
HiHats - 4 additional Pots: (now this is fantastic - HiHats get a dedicated VCF with LP/BP/HP - it's a Steiner-Parker filter - design was taken/authorized from Yves Usson Yusynth - Thanks very much Yves Usson)
  • Tune - sets the tuning
    Filter Switch - Off/LP/BP/HP
    Cutoff
    Resonance
Env Mod - sets the amount of Cutoff Mod by the HiHat AmpEnv / -100%..+100% Range
Cymbals - 2 additional Pots, both Ride and Crash: (both Cymbals get an alternative AD Envelope - now you can set a much shorter Decay-Time or a long Attack Time for fading the sounds in)
  • ENV Switch - choose internal or alternative ENV - alternative ENV can also be normal/retriggered mode (retriggerd means it starts from 0 with every new trigger / normal starts from level at the time of trigger)
    Attack
    Decay
