Contemplating a Nava (a few questions)

Hi,

I'm Marius. And new here. Nice to meet you all!

I'm contemplating building a Nava, but am currently trying to investigate what exactly I can expect from it. One of the things I've seen that is worrying me a bit, is the pattern changes happening immediately, and not when the playing pattern has finished. Can anyone please tell me if this is the way it still works, or if this has been updated in some firmware update? Haven't managed to find any new posts on it.

Also, I see a few people report sync troubles when the Nava is running as a slave. How common are these issues? This is of great interest to me, as I will mainly run it in midi slave mode.

Any thoughts appreciated!

Cheers
Marius

Hi Marius,

Nice to meet you too!

The pattern change has been modified in v1.20
v1.020:
-Fixed CH and OH bug in MIDI play
-Add a config page that allow you to set the sequencer pattern change SYNC or FREE: -Push Tempo button twice while holding SHIFT button to access to the second config page. Use the encoder to select "pCH" (pattern change) SYN => SYNC or FRE => FREE. push the enter button to store new sequencer setup

Thanks! That's good to know.

Guess I'll just have to decide whether to build one of these or wait and see what Acidlab cooks up with the Detroit then.
