Hi to all the Nava people!
Yesterday I started my Nava build: my idea is to build the sections in this order so I can test single instruments in a "definitive" way:
01 Power supply
02 Noise
03 IO Board
04 Sequencer
05 Master
06 BassDrum
..all other sections

Anyone knows if there is any side effect building the sections in this order?

If you don't mind me asking, why the sequencer before the voices?

I've been building in the order in the instructions apart from finishing the io board first so I can test each voice easily ( just use arduino to send 5v trig pulses) eg

You are right but I don't have an Arduino in my hands at the moment..
I've built power supply, Io board and Noise so I am in the situation where I have to choose one way or the other...with a work of 4-5 hours I can build sequencer section then proceed with bass drum and other sections...but yes, I will think again about the Arduino way..

That's pretty interesting. Would you mind sharing how to set up an Arduino to test the individual sections of the Nava? Are there any guides that you found that would be helpful for someone just starting out?

If you have no luck with the thread above let me know and ill make a little tutorial with code, You can actually get the Arduino sequencing multiple drums at once quite easily.

Thanks jeroenbvo and Sawtooth! I've read through the thread and understand it a little more now. Although if you have some time to make a short tutorial too that would be totally awesome!

Hi polpat. Would you mind sharing the points on the main board to which you send the 5v trig to and take the audio from for each sound?

If you look at the solderside of the PCB you can see markers for the triggers.
