Testing the LCD

Hi there, I also had to desolder my LCD, and now find it's not working. Which pins should be showing voltage for the backlight etc?
Any other things to test?

Mine had cold solder joints. After resolder several times it worked. It was 3 or 4 times and heat it longer than normal.

I'll give it a go - I've got the datasheet here:
http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/291/NHD-0216 ... -29271.pdf so I'll check I've got power on pins 15/16

Nah I think I've killed it somehow... there's power at the pins, but no continuity from the pins to where the backlight is powered. And if I short the pin to the backlight it glows, but I have no display...
I think I'll just get a new one for the sake of £8..
