For anyone interested in the files I used for the enclosure, let me know in the thread or PM me.
You should know, though, that the cutout part of these files is just a copy of the cutout EPS file that is provided for the acrylic case.
Exploring other enclosure options.
I still cannot send PMs but I am still interested in the enclosure files. Thanks a lot!ElSchtroumpf wrote:For anyone interested in the files I used for the enclosure, let me know in the thread or PM me.

I too am not able to PM yet. But am I correct in thinking it's just the EPS file over this enclosure:

Yes that is correct, although the design of the enclosure is only based on the Hammond. It has different dimensions and the final version will have it's back in a 90° angle relative to the faceplate. I also added 2 more holes in the back, for the switch and the C14 socket.touchmonkey wrote:I too am not able to PM yet. But am I correct in thinking it's just the EPS file over this enclosure:

If you were talking about DR.Knob's build, I think you are right. It is just a big panel over a hammond enclosure.
El Stroumpf's is a completely custom manufactured enclosure.
Your question was ambiguous or you may not have caught on that those are different things.
or maybe i'm the one that is confused

It is just a big panel over a hammond enclosure. The PCB is attached to the front panel and the casing is cut to the passage of the pcb. The rear panel I / O has been pierced with a special drilling tool. It's really hard work. The design of the front panel has been done with the software Front Designer then the panel was manufactured by Schaeffer AG. I worked almost 2 months to get it, since i'm a beginner with software design.

if anyone is still interested in a metal enclosure for their Yocto, I still have 2 units available. Two people who ordered one never got back to me.
Leave a message or PM me if you need more info.

Hi ElSchtroumpf, I'm interested in one. Unfortunately I can't pm you yet.. I'm halfway through my build and was already looking for enclosure options and yours looks beautiful!
Last chance, I still have 1 enclosure left.
Hi ElSchtroumpf,

Thanks a lot!
