Nava Schematic Errors [SOLVED ON V1.01]
-
They are corrected
Yes, just saw it too. Description was edited...
the tutorial says that we have to cross the legs of transistor for 1.01 owners... I don't understand... ara issues corrected
bass drum :
But if the new batch is sold with a new pcb, why is it sold likeversion 1.01 ? It's not clear.
Have we to apply this change in tutorial or not?
Sorry for my bad english... I don't speak this language very well...
Is there the same issues or it's just the tutorial that it's not updated?
snare drumIMPORTANT for the mainboard v1.0l owner: refer to this TOPIC before to start this section. For the V1.01 owner connect a wire betwwen P1 and P1'
so... it means that version 1.01 is an old version! Now, add transistors. Pay attention! There are two different type of transistor: 2SA1115 and 2SC2603. Do not mix ! Pay attention to the orientation in which you solder Q47 and Q48. 2SD1469 marker have to match with the symbol black part silkscreened.
IMPORTANT for the mainboard v1.0l owner : Q43 Q46 and Q49 have to be solder with pin 1 and 2 reversed like describe in this topic

New to forum, looking forward to this build!
So I just ordered a kit and am also curious if 1.01 means the bassdrum and snare issues were fixed or if they still require kludges?
The kit description in the store says all hardware issues have been fixed but then the build guide, as AERecords references above, says we are to read a lengthy forum post (why) and then make a few fixes to the PCB?
For the bass : are the P1 and P1 points labelled on PCB? I don't see it on the silkscreen downloads.
For the Snare : do we still reverse pin 1 and 2 on the three transistors (Q43, Q46, Q49)?

Received my kits today. P1 and P1 are labelled on the PCBsunbaked wrote: For the bass : are the P1 and P1 points labelled on PCB? I don't see it on the silkscreen downloads.

Also I compared the traces of v1.0 layout and v1.01 layout regarding Q43, Q46, Q49. Changes were done, so no need to reverse legs anymore.
So, E-licktronics has to correct the tutorial, because it's a new source of errors ! Isn't it?
It doesn't really say 1.01. It says 1.0l. Looks like a typo to me. I just finished the SD of my 1.01 board without switching any transistor legs. I will try out tomorrow if it works...AE.Records wrote:the tutorial says that we have to cross the legs of transistor for 1.01 owners... I don't understand... ara issues corrected
Ok, thank you!
I'm waiting for your news!

I started building a 1.01a board. I checked the transistor legs against the schematics and they seemed OK now. But I am not an electronics expert.
That typo with the little 'l' after '1.0' on the tutorial page sure is confusing.
